We are in the process of reshaping our Paper business for the future: to enable us to be the best bespoke paper mill in the world. We are looking for a confident and collaborative Training Specialist, with experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment. This role needs to embody all of our company Values: Forward thinking; Responsible & Caring as it will be highly influential in raising the factory standards of work. We need someone who has a real passion for effective and accurate communication, the ability to listen to our experienced operators and be able to take this knowledge and translate it into effective, modern and best in class training materials and approach.
The role will work within the operations team to create the framework and approach to facilitate all operators to become trained on multiple assets & be able to demonstrate a maintained or improved level of competency throughout their operational career.
Working Monday to Friday in a mix of operational and office environments, the role will require you to be a pioneer, pushing the boundaries of innovation. You will be forward thinking; leading the implementation of creative training and competency solutions that have a positive impact for future generations. You will be highly aspirational, a strong networker and with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, motivated by achieving demanding goals for creating and developing exciting new ways of working in a manufacturing environment.
Our ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline. A CIPD Level 3 Associate would be desirable but not essential.
A willingness to work closely with teams at all levels, taking the lead when appropriate, is required. It will be necessary to develop expertise in the manufacturing process and the application of improvements techniques. A strong emphasis on change management is very important.
