Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Cumbria O&M Services, COMS, are a Leading UK Provider of Operational, Maintenance and Engineering Services to the Nuclear Sector and Regulated Industries Nationwide.

Together, we're looking for a new Commercial & Strategic Growth Manager to develop and manage commercial processes within the business, strategically securing new opportunities and managing the full contract lifecycle to ensure excellent stakeholder service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assume commercial and contract account management responsibility for named clients.
  • Develop and drive bid management processes. This includes management of the tendering process from sourcing through to development of response, submission, feedback, and the contractual management of successful bids.
  • Develop new strong collaborative relationships with clients, delivery partners, suppliers, and key sector stakeholders for all commercial activities
  • Responsible for the contractual management of identified suppliers and sub-contracted arrangements.
  • To assist the Directors in setting current year targets for the pre-defined company objectives
  • Ensure our Human Resource, Marketing, Quality and Sustainability processes are aligned and sufficiently deployed to our commercial requirements.

About You

  • Experience in supporting bids, and drafting, negotiating and closing complex contracts
  • Experience of commercial management systems, in particular bid management processes.
  • Evidence of working with outsourced and/or collaboration partners and managing others
  • Ability to identify commercial risks, opportunities, and opportunities to mitigate
  • Experience of contract management issues, including changes, claims and disputes.
  • Knowledge and experience within the nuclear industry
