Together, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy People & Systems Co-Ordinator to join a dynamic People Team. Based at the head office in Carlisle, this is an opportunity to work within one of the UK’s leading agricultural businesses, helping to shape and support the employee experience for its growing workforce.
This is a broad, fast-paced and rewarding role ideal for someone with exposure to HR and/or payroll administration experience who enjoys working with data, systems, and people. You’ll be at the heart of its People operations, coordinating key processes such as payroll support, onboarding, reporting, and system improvements - ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
What You’ll Be Doing

Collating, checking and submitting monthly payroll data to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time

Supporting the administration of the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding

Maintaining accurate records across HR systems, intranet, and training platforms

Handling employee queries and coordinating responses on policies, benefits, and systems

Running reports on headcount, absence, leavers, and role changes to support key business decisions

Supporting recruitment processes and keeping the applicant tracking systems up to date

Helping drive process improvements and ensuring our people systems are fit for the future
What You’ll Bring

Proven experience in or exposure to a People, Payroll, or HR administration role

Strong digital and systems skills, with confidence using HRIS, databases, or platforms like SharePoint

Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for data accuracy

Confidence handling confidential information with discretion

Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills

A proactive, positive, and curious mindset – always looking to improve how we work
