Established in 1997, the group includes David Allen Financial Services, David Allen Recovery Solutions, David Allen IT Solutions and David Allen AgriBusiness. With a team of over 150 dedicated professionals, we're now seeking a new Payroll & HR Administrator to join the team.

Working within a small, friendly, and welcoming HR team, this role is a fantastic opportunity for someone to learn and grow. We're looking for someone ambitious who is interested in Payroll and HR, and particularly would like to develop in one of these specialist areas via education and training. David Allen is happy to support their new administrator from day 1 including progression through a payroll or HR related qualification.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • To manage and administer the monthly payroll for David Allen employees accurately and to the highest standard. This includes inputting wages; calculating holiday and statutory sick pay; producing electronic payslips; uploading pension files; collating and delivering statutory payroll reports and more.
  • To undertake HR administration such: updating and managing people records in the HRIS; oversee the shared HR inbox ensuring enquiries are signposted efficiently; assisting with employee benefits administration; involvement in supporting full lifecycle activities such as contracting generation, processing leavers/starters and onboarding.
  • To learn, support and grow with the HR team! To ask questions, learn, and give it your all!

About you

We're looking for an ambitious, conscientious and motivated administrator with an interest in joining and growing with the organisation long-term. Accuracy is key in this role, so we're looking for candidates with meticulous attention to detail who operate logically and methodically. As part of a truly lovely team, you'll need to be a people person and excellent communicator.
