Role: Global Workday Specialist
Location: Liverpool
Salary: £65,000 - £68,000 per annum + £5.8k car allowance + 10% bonus (pro-rata for 9 months)
Employment Type: Fixed Term (9 Months), Hybrid (3 days office)

This is an exciting opportunity with a global manufacturing organisation who produce a range of well-known, household brands. With a heritage spanning more than 80 years, their products are loved the world over, and they are looking for a fixed term Global Workday Specialist to optimise people systems across diverse, global regions.As part of the high-performing Global Workday Support Team, you’ll deliver expert Tier 2+ support and champion enhancements that simplify and elevate the employee experience for thousands worldwide.
This role offers a unique opportunity to support Workday improvement initiatives that directly contribute to the strategic roadmap, working collaboratively with HR stakeholders across regions to drive efficiency, process excellence, and innovation.
Key Deliverables
• Partner with regional super users to resolve issues and provide expert guidance.
• Provide end user training, communication materials and support for BAU and all relevant changes to Workday
• Lead internal projects aligned with the Global Workday Roadmap.
• Own specific Workday functional areas (e.g. Core HCM, Recruiting, Security, Reporting).
• Gather requirements and assess impact across the global system landscape.
• Deliver testing for new Workday releases and ensure seamless rollouts.
About You
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Workday ecosystem.
• Deep technical expertise and configuration capability in a BAU environment.
• Specialist knowledge in one or more key Workday areas.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management.
