The Role

Our Operations Coordinators manage key departments within our service operation to ensure the smooth and efficient running of product distribution. With a mix of team leaders and colleagues reporting directly to this role, you will help support the team so that it runs efficiently; planning ahead to make sure the needs of our customers are met across the year and that resources are in place to continue delivering an exception Out of Eden service!

Responsibilities include:

• As part of the Co-ordinator team, you will take the lead in Operations concentrating on day-to-day and short-term tasks (1 to 2 weeks), ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the whole department whilst focussing at all times on the needs of Out of Eden customers and team members. You will also be responsible for the medium (2-4 weeks) and long term needs and resource planning.
  
  
• You will be responsible for the planning of all resources required to deliver excellent customer service, whilst ensuring the teams are motivated and positive.
  
  
• Manage performance to ensure the team is working in line with company targets, policies and procedures, as well as establishing positive communication channels so that any issues can be addressed swiftly.
  
  
• Oversee, arrange and conduct training of all operations team members with continuous improvement in mind.
  
  
• Manage the Operations team’s overall performance conducting probationary and annual reviews.
  
  
• Develop the operations team leaders to the required level, focusing on task, behaviours and people skills.
  
  
• Ensure that the right stock is in the right place in all locations that the fastest selling lines are on main site in ample quantities and that timely replenishment takes place.
  
  
• Ensure that regular stock checks are undertaken, shortages are investigated, and improvements are in place to prevent further loss.

About You

This is a busy operational role in which you will need to lead, manage and develop the team in line with Out of Eden’s values. We're looking for someone with proven experience working in a busy Operations first line manager role (E-commerce preferable). If you're a completer finisher, with a proactive and positive can-do attitude, someone who enjoys inspiring their team within a lovely, family feel environment, and a prior history in logistics/warehouse/ops environment, this could be the role for you!
